June 13, 2017 I believe it was Wednesday that we got here...the campsite was almost empty. Camp-host and another couple in their trailer were the only campers... Eureka Valley
We took some days off and set out to clear the soul and mind. On the last trip we heard from some people about the beautiful campgrounds along the Stanislaus River so we figured why not...let's go find it and stay up there for a couple of days. By the time we packed and left the house was like 4:30pm. We pulled in to the campsite as the last rays of the daylight dissolved within the trees. Lake McSwain 2.0
I liked campgrounds in Lake McSwain and wanted to come back there again...so I took some time off and set out there on Thursday with intent to stay there until Tuesday. Total of six days...should be relaxing. Unfortunately Beth was not able to take time off this weekend so it will have to be a solo trip with some friends joining me on Friday and Saturday. Lake McSwain
It was our very first trip with the 5th Wheel...I was so anxious and nervous that when Beth asked if I want some breakfast before leaving I got nauseous. I chose the closest location to home for the first trip so I could test the hitch rail that I installed night before and the trailer itself. Trailer was stocked with food, ice and liquor the night before, so all I had to do was a quick inspection to make sure all the parts and systems were good to go. Found one of the
