Half Dome

I left Fresno around 4:00 am and by the time I got to the Yosemite National Park the sun was almost up in the sky.
Me and my friend Mike felt pretty good about hoping up there snapping couple pictures and being back in no time! O boy! Do we have any idea what was waiting for us....
The powerful Merced River
The beginning of the hike is nice and shady. Time in the time nice view pops out through the trees but other than that there are really nothing much to see.
It felt really good to reach this point on the way back
I like this place it is like a ferry tale
Nevada Falls. One stupid move and you gone forever. Total of 11 people dyed by accidentally falling from the 594 feet tall waterfall.
Back side of the Half Dome. Still ways to go!
The higher you get the better are views
Couple more humps and we'll be in the spot. Piece of cake.
Closer and closer
Wow look at that! On this "staircase" we cot up with a bechloret party. They had the same goal as we did - Half Dome.
Just so it gives you an idea how steep it is. And if you ever walked on the bear granite you know what I'm talking about.
The last "hump". What happened with the stairs!? I guess cables will have to do.
Looking to the left....
Looking to the right...I better stay right in the middle.
Put my gloves on, grabbed the cable and ...wish me luck!
Somewhere in the middle ... Taking a cigarette break. I better hold that cable tide!
Looking over the lip.
That's it! I made it!
It was perfect day, you could see for miles...and miles...all the way around.
Very nice...
OK, time to go down now...
Couple more pictures on the way home...
Looking back right before we get in to the forest...
That's it. Exhausted but happy we went home.
Excellent hike!
