My Mom came visit us all the way from Lithuania. I did not seen her for over 8 years so we tryed to spend as much time together as we could and catch up on some stuff. What could be better that outdoors!

No time to waste, we set out for another day trip to Yosemite National park

The hills along the Merced River and Hwy 140 seem to be on fire from Californian popies

No Photoshop at all !

And this is only begining. In couple more days or week they should be in the midle of blooming and this place will be crawling with tourist...just like us

We did found some snow on Yosemite Valey bottom...hiding in pine tree shadows

Yosemite Valley

You can see Yosemite Falls in the distance. Later that day after sum came up higher and melted more snow the waterfall was roaring...

Lower Yosemite Falls

We desided to hike Yosemetite Falls or at least try it to see how far we can get ...

Weekend before we hiked 10mile loop in Pinnacles and my Mom was feeling pretty good about this hike...

Half way up the altitude started playing tricks on her...Such a flatlander!

This is as high as we got this time, we turned around and started hike down

The altitude sicknes won this time...but we will be back!

On the way down she recovered prety fast and we spend rest of the day kicking back in the park

On the way back to the car the Bob Cat walked acros the trail, did not payed much attention to us and looking for mice...

Once again Upper Yosemite Falls
