Modesto Cycle Specialties had open house so me and my wife headed to Modesto....

The weather was perfect...and the day promised a lot of fun....

They had a band playing and BBQ....

A lot of discounts on gear and parts....

And a lot of good looking bikes in the parking lot....

This one was really sweet....

The food is ready....

Too bad my wife felt out of place and wanted to go riding ....I was just about to get a hot dog....

So we hit a road ....Headed East on 132....

The day and the road was perfect....

Stopped for a little brake....

Old bridge...is not being used anymore...but foot traffic is welcome....

Next stop...Red Hills...the day was getting hot....

Stacie's first water crossing...if you can call this water crossing....

Then I took her to some back roads...and she surprised me once again....she was just popping and rolling ...right behind me....

Uphill or down hill...she did really good....

From here we went to Jamestown to visit some family...and then back to Merced....

It was a good day ride...very mellow...but I had some good company with me ...
