CYCLE SPECIALTIES - SHOP RIDE

Map - I'm working on It
So we gathered by the Cycle Specialties around 9am...
Gail give a little speech about the safety and ride....
All nice and shiny ...ready to go!
The crowd was much larger that I expected....it's going to be an interesting ride....
We left Modesto and hit some country roads ....gravel, dust and one large puddle of water right in the middle of road....just to make that dust to stick better...
No way around, so we got a little wet ...some more that others...
A little brake was just what we needed ....after getting a little wet and chocking on the dust for past 5 miles or so....
But spirits was high....and the day was just getting better....
There were a lot of new faces, and names, so I forgot all of them ....sorry guys...and girls...
So we got our gear back on and left dusty road behind....
Next stop in Columbia where us joiner couple more riders....
I love dirty ...color...
Last final stop before we getting in to the woods...
Good little spot to stop....
The committee gathered review the route....
Yep, we on the right road.....
Admiring the nature....
It was a beautiful day to ride.....not too cold and not too hot....
Hanging out on the bridge....

Last final check up before the mountain roads....
Happy Birthday Dan! ( I think his name was Dan - let me know if not so I could correct myself )
We left paved roads behind and headed in to the mountains....
The weather was getting better and better....
Around the noon we stopped for a lunch brake.....
It's a good time to better know each other and swap some stories....
...
...
Gearing up and getting ready to go again....
The road was really good, not too dusty....and not too difficult....

Back to the civilization....

Gail is telling everyone another story....
Putting air back in the tires....usualy mean one thing - no more dirt today....
...
And that's about all...not a lot of pictures of nature, but this time was all about the ride....and it sure was fun...
