I was on the road by 9am Saturday morning. Destination: Yosemite National Park. Mission: purchase national park pass.

I decided to try and reach my destination the hard way....

This is one good looking bike!!

Stay away from those deep tracks...

The road was fun to ride...

...until I started to encounter some snow at the higher elevations. I managed to bust through several large and muddy snow patches.

But the higher I got the worst it got. After this one I decided to turn around and go back.

A couple of guys came behind me and managed to hop over the "snow ball"...

..with each others help.

On the way down the mountain I managed to lay my bike down in one of those mud pits...that was dumb idea.

Not much braking with this fancy brake pedal...

And this happens to me on the regular basis...

I wrapped some black tape around it and it was good to go!

In Oakhurst I stopped by the car shop where the local guys helped me straighten the brake pedal...Thank you Shawn!

Looks brand new!

The rest of the trip was easy.

What a beautiful country!!!

That guy was sure thirsty...

At the end of the day, I stopped at a friend's house where my wife was waiting for me...

We spent the rest of the night sitting around, drinking ice cold beer and cooking BBQ.

After a nice meal, there is nothing better than a soft bed....such a nice day!!!!
