I left my house around 10 am. The drive to San Francisco was pretty boring as I stayed on the major highways. Due to the wildfires Hwy 1 was closed and not accessible from Gilroy where a local Sheriff advised me to use Hwy 101 to San Francisco |
The day was cold and windy, so I did not spend much time by Golden Gate Bridge - just a couple quick shots and I hit the road |
Hwy 1 was fun to ride, just that NW wind was strong and cold! I drove through several little sea towns where I stopped to get gas and coffee. In the picture above is actually working post office |
The sky was hazy so the views was not that impressive as usually |
I reached Fort Ross around 4:30pm. Stopped in the camp site and for $10.00 settled in for the night |
After the dinner I checked the route for tomorrow, made some notes and cleaned my .45 |
When all the chores was completed I drove my bike to the beach to watch the sunset |
If not that cold wind I would say the day was perfect |
