Last week we drove south on Hwy 120 from Yosemite National Park and Dale pointed to me the road to Cherry lake.."a lot of good riding up there" he told me...

So a week later I was on the road heading towards Cherry lake ....zipped down the Hgw49...to Coulterville...got me some coffee..

Stopped on Hwy 120. The destination somewhere out there in the distance..

Definitely on the right road.

Such a nice place...and smells here so good... not like back in city...

I spotted a lot of logging roads on the other side...hmmm..???

Destination..

I checked map and decided to pop in the Yosemite National Park to visit another lake...Lake Eleanor..

After 6 miles of gravel road I reached park territory but the gate was closed. That 's Ok it will give me some time to check those logging roads I saw earlier..

Lucky me, they were open..!!

I spend a couple hours riding on those roads...that was a blast.!!!

Stopped for a brake...such a nice place ...a lots of fun roads to ride..

From Cherry lake I took road 14 west to Sonora..

This was the last place I expected to see so much snow ....surprise surprise...!!
